The location was perfect, with easy access to the beautiful Cave Dale walk and Mam Tor. We also loved the nearby shops, pubs, and tea shops. The cottage itself was full of character, with a cozy log burner, made our snowy stay extra special. The main bedroom was lovely, with a huge and comfortable bed. We were really surprised by the second bedroom, as the bed was bigger than expected and opened up, adding to the adventure and use of space. The cottage was tastefully decorated and equipped with everything we needed. It wasnice and neat, and the pictures really didn't do it justice. We also appreciated the helpful recommendations for dinner at The Castle Inn and The Peak Hotel, as well as live music at The Nags Head and a superb breakfast at Tilly's Cafe.

The cooking facilities were a bit challenging for us, as we struggled to regulate the oven and hotplate. We couldn't find any instructions, although it's possible that we missed them.

I had the most very nice stay at this charming cottage in the heart of Castleton. The location couldn't have been better, and I loved the character that the cottage had, especially with the unique bed on a shelf. Even though it wasn't cold enough for a log fire, I wish it had been because I can imagine how cozy it would have made the place feel.

The location was amazing, with access to Cave Dale walk and Mam Tor right on the doorstep. It was perfect for exploring the beautiful surroundings of this charming city. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated, with tasteful furnishings and everything you could possibly need. It was clean and comfortable, and the log burner made our snowy stay extra cozy. The main bedroom was lovely, with a huge and comfortable bed. We also loved the smaller bedroom, which we nicknamed the pizza oven room, as it had a comfortable and spacious bed. this place was a little gem and we would definitely return.

    Everything was spot on.

Perfect location, minutes away from Devil's Arse cave and convenient for planned walks. Quiet at night with nearby shops, pubs, and tea shops. Well-equipped kitchen, although lacking saucepan lids. Comfortable living room with good WiFi. Beautifully decorated cottage, cozy with a log burner. Spacious and comfortable main bedroom, with an additional smaller room. Great for exploring Castleton's attractions. Enjoy dinner at The Castle Inn and The Peak Hotel, live music at The Nags Head, and breakfast at Tilly's Cafe.

Lovely comfortable large bedroom and bed with loads of storage space. Fantastic garden with beautiful planting, so peaceful and serene. Great location for exploring nearby walks and attractions, just minutes away from Devil's Arse cave concert. Shops, pubs, and tea shops conveniently nearby. Kitchen well-equipped with all necessary equipment, except for saucepan lids. Good WiFi connection.

No hot water until we checked with the hosts. Aga cooking facilities were poor, took a long time to heat up and no instructions provided.

We loved exploring the area and enjoyed recommendations for dinner at the Castle Inn and the Peak Hotel. the live music at the Nags Head was a fun surprise, and breakfast at Tilly's Cafe was absolutely brilliant.

The location of this cottage is ideal for exploring the charming town and enjoying its amenities, such as shops, pubs, and tea shops. Additionally, it is conveniently located near Devil's Arse cave, perfect for attending events like concerts. The cottage offers a peaceful and quiet environment at night, ensuring a good night's sleep.

It would be helpful if the information provided highlighted the difficulties in accessing the second bed, which is in a covered alcove and requires crawling.
